We have some great news to share this holiday season: The window installation project at Pleasant Hill Community Church, UCC is fully funded!
Project coordinator Lyle Weible said this project is one example of the church’s ongoing commitment to being green.
“This project reflects sensitivity to our environment and real savings on energy costs. More than that, this project is a witness to those around us now and a legacy for those who follow us,” Weible said.
In total, this $25,000 project is expected to save the church $41,877 and 577,368 lbs of CO2 over its lifetime. You can learn more about these savings on the project data sheet.
This is the second project the church funded on NGE’s Green Project Listing Site. In June, the Pleasant Hill community raised $25,000 in less than two weeks for a geothermal installation project. The drilling and installation for that project began in August 2011.
“NGE has been a wonderful partner to help us achieve success in installing ‘green’ projects in our building expansion,” Weible said.
Congratulations Pleasant Hill Community Church, UCC!
